In this capacity, Bob Creamer assists clients with message development, campaign direction, advertising initiatives, and much more. Committed to serving progressive clients who implement progressive policies, Robert Creamer and his colleagues at Democracy Partners have worked with institutions such as the Center for Community Change, Planned Parenthood, and a host of progressive senators and parties.
Over the course of his career, Robert Creamer has amassed several notable accomplishments in the political sphere. During the 2008 election cycle, he held responsibility for overseeing quick response efforts at the local level to John McCain and Sarah Palin on behalf of the Democratic National Committee. Before that, he directed nationwide efforts to block the privatization of Social Security. In addition, Robert Creamer led the Fair Taxes for All Coalition campaign, and he possesses extensive experience with immigration and Wall Street reform, among other important issues. Earlier in his career, he established Citizen Action of Illinois, which advocated public transportation funding, toxic waste cleanup, improvements in education, and Medicare reform.
In addition to his duties at Democracy Partners, Bob Creamer serves as General Consultant with Americans United for Change, which opposes extreme conservative views through grassroots campaigns, aggressive advertising, and other outlets. Part of his responsibilities included organizing the movement to pass some of President Obama's key stimulus legislation.
Robert Creamer obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Duke University. While studying for his degree in the 1960s, he maintained active involvement in anti-war groups and the civil rights movement. In his leisure time, he enjoys flying and spending time with his family, especially his four grandchildren.
